Mark 39 Clarke Class Diplomatic Clipper
In peactime, the function of this stripped-down and swift vessel is to ferry Ambassadors and supporting diplomatic personnel to important meetings and contacts within the Federation and nearby Treaty Sone. In wartime however, the Mark 39 acts as a rapid-deployment sensor/mine launch platform. Intended to provide date for large Battle-ggroups and Sub-Fleets, the wartime function of the Mark 39 is to approach an enemy coordinates, launch a salvo of sensor drones (or lay a series of mines), and then retreat back to the main force at Emergency Speed, with the deployed sensor drones being monitored by the flagship.
